Understanding yourself differently starts here.
Life doesn’t come with a manual, but it does leave clues.
Whether you’re feeling overwhelmed, navigating a major life transition, rebuilding after trauma or simply curious about why you think, feel and respond the way you do, these workshops help you make sense of your experiences and move forward with greater confidence and clarity.
Each one combines evidence-based psychology, trauma-informed practice and practical tools in a way that is engaging, accessible and immediately relevant to everyday life.
Because when we understand ourselves differently, we begin to live differently.

Why Am I Like This?
This is the flagship Empowerment House workshop, and the best place to begin.
If you’ve ever wondered why you react the way you do, why certain situations affect you so deeply, or why the same patterns keep showing up in your life, this workshop will help you connect the dots.
You’ll explore how your nervous system, life experiences, relationships and beliefs shape your thoughts, emotions and behaviours, while gaining practical tools to respond with greater awareness and choice.
Running on Empty
Burnout is more than feeling tired. It affects the way we think, feel, connect with others and experience the world.
This workshop explores why burnout happens, how it impacts both mind and body, and practical ways to restore balance before exhaustion becomes your normal.
Whether you’re caring for others, leading a team, juggling family responsibilities or simply feeling stretched too thin, it offers practical strategies grounded in psychology and neuroscience.
Not Quite Myself
Many women reach midlife wondering what has happened to the person they used to be.
Changes in mood, energy, confidence, memory and emotional regulation can feel confusing and isolating.
This workshop combines psychology with education around perimenopause to help women understand what they’re experiencing and develop practical strategies for navigating this stage with confidence and self-compassion.
The Rebuild
Leaving an abusive relationship is only the beginning of recovery.
This workshop supports women after the crisis has passed, helping them understand the impact trauma has had on their nervous system, identity, relationships and sense of safety.
Participants learn practical tools for rebuilding confidence, recognising healthy relationships and creating a life that feels safe, meaningful and hopeful. Delivered in partnership with community organisations and support services.
I Just Wish You Understood Me
Relationships between parents and children can become frustrating when everyone is reacting but nobody understands why.
This workshop explores child development, nervous system responses and communication patterns to help families move beyond conflict and reconnect with greater understanding.
The goal isn’t perfect parenting. It’s creating stronger connection through greater insight.
It’s Not About the Dishwasher, Honey
Most relationship arguments aren’t really about the dishwasher.
They’re about unmet needs, emotional triggers, nervous system responses and long-standing patterns that neither partner fully understands.
This workshop helps couples recognise what’s happening beneath recurring conflict and provides practical tools for communicating differently, strengthening connection and responding more intentionally.
